Latest snow reports: A ‘very white’ Christmas in the Alps, with snow across European ski resorts

It looks set to be a very white Christmas in the Alps, with heavy snowfall forecast for the next week in Europe’s ski resorts. A metre or more should accumulate above 2,000m by Christmas Day, and it will be cold too – double digits below freezing at times.
